The 2056 is an excellent daily driver, capable of high 20s-35 mpg with fuel injection, and excellent longevity.

These engines are available in several different states of tune for virtually all aircooled VW and Porsche applications, except the VW Bus- we have specific Camper Special and Powerstroke Bus engines designed to power a Split or Bay Window Bus.

This engine is most popular with our Porsche 914 and 912E customers. I have this particular engine in my 912E with well over 125,000 miles in only five years (see below).

Horsepower Range: 140-185 Torque: 150-190

The 2270 is by far our most researched and most highly developed and tested
engine and it is my personal favorite for any car (except a VW Bus) as it is
the perfect mix of reliability, longevity and performance. The 2270 is an
excellent daily driver, capable of 25-30 mpg and a usable power band that is
absolutely unbelievable!

This engine is most popular with our VW Type 1 customers as a conversion
engine and it is also popular with all our Porsche following as well,
especially for the 356 conversion.

Follow along as we drive a 2270 3,450 flawlewss miles across country at an average speed of 76 MPH, then blasted down the qtr mile with freeway gearing achieving a 94 MPH pass.

The 2316 is an excellent performer with a great mix of reliability and longevity, capable of 25-30 mpg and extreme power all through the power band.

This engine is most popular with our Porsche 914 customers and these engines
can be used for in town driving, autocross action or Road courses. I have
driven a 914 with this engine installed for developmental purposes for
14,000 miles in 2004 and LOVED IT! The engine made 181 usable HP and great
torque in my personal 1973 Porsche 914.

The 2316 also works very well in VW applications as well for a super power boost under the decklid!

The 2563 is a big torque engine that is easy to drive and features LN
engineering "Nickies" cylinders in the Porsche 102mm bore size for
incredible longevity and cool running. Capable of 25-30 mpg the 2563 offers
versatile performance for all VW and Porsche models.

Horsepower Range: 210-225 Torque: 200-210

Turnkey Engines starting at $13,000
The 2615 is an all around performer with a ton of torque and smooth,
extremely usable power. Most 2615 engines are fuel injected with bigger
exhaust systems from Tangerine Racing being mandatory for proper engine
operation.

If you want big power this is the largest of our catalog engines, above this
level everything is full custom with no limit on performance except how far
your wallet can open!

2016
Super 2 Liter
Horsepower Range: 120 Torque: 130
Engine Kit Price - N/A
Turnkey Engines starting at $10,000
The 2016 was developed for MPG and drivability, capable of <50 mpg with fuel injection and proper gearing coupled to the right vehicle all with excellent longevity. This is our newest development in engine combination development, only completed in mid 2006 we are still finding the depths of this engine's capabilities.

This engine makes all it's power below 5,000 RPM and does so with a power band that rivals any newer modern car!

(MPG figures are estimates, one engine has achieved 51 MPG on one occasion but generally averages lower 40 MPG figures.).
