My services of professional consulting have been sought out by many different do it yourselfer's building back yard projects that want to do them the right way as well as professional builders and even inventors.

The engine and power train related services that I offer for are virtually endless, but are limited strictly to aircooled applications!

My engine configuration service is the most popular of all my consulting. Helping a fellow enthusiast is always fun because I love to hear the different ideas both before and during the build process. Comparing these with the finished product that has my ideas employed is always the best part! The majority of those that seek this service want an exceptional engine the first time and that want to build it themselves but not make mistakes associated with a lack of knowledge normally found with a "newbie" working on a super involved project.

With this service I provide not only consulting, but also employ my software to plot your engine combination and help you choose the right sizes and dimensions of components. I then couple this with my past and current experiences with manufacturers and their components to help you decide not only what parts to use, but also where to source them if they are something we do not carry for any reason..

Engine configuration services are limited to Type 4, Porsche 356/616, early Porsche 911 (up to 2.7L) and Pinzgauer only.

Rates for configuration service:

Initial charge- Includes 2 hours of time computer generated plots and recommendations= 250.00.

Method of payment is credit card that must be approved prior to the conversation.

The rates for this service are set based upon an initial quote that will most people get their project well under way. This initial fee includes 2 hours of my time that is split up into phone interviews and computer assisted plotting of the engine. I offer the computer generated reports and plots to the customer inclusive of the 2 hour initial charge. Further questions and recommendations can be fielded for an additional 80.00 per hour, with a minimum charge of 1/2 hour at 40.00

 

If you are stumped with an issue or just can't seem to make that engine live or make power I CAN help you! Most problems are very simple for me to assist with due to the vast differences I have experienced with engines.

The prices I charge for question and answer sessions are 80.00 per hour with a minimum of one hour. I like to talk and in one hour I can help you get most any issue solved or question answered!
