"Hi Jake,
I don't use the term "haul ass" frequently, but
yes it does. I know you're in the mountains in Northern Georgia. I'm in
the Blue Ridge (southern Appalachia). The car handles great but there is
so much power that I could easily send the car careening off the road
(and off a mountain cliff) with a stab of the throttle at the wrong
moment. But that's how a sports car like this should be. It's perfect.
The car has huge torque, which surprised me. It
pulls from 2000 no problem and hard from about 2500 on up to 7000. I
have missed a shift once, and the tack circled all the way to about 8300
rpm. Scared I bent a valve or something but no problem whatsoever.
I am thinking about getting on your list for the
winter...maybe take the car down to you to get that distributor-less
ignition, a fine tuning, and limited slip (if you can do that for me).
In other words I have a feeling I'm not done
spending money yet."
