I just completed the BMW brake upgrade on my Raby "Annihilator" powered 914 and drove it for the first time yesterday... and OH MY GOD!!! This thing has enough power and torque to roast the tires in 1st, 2nd, and third gears! Thank goodness for good brakes! I just hope the tranny holds up to the newly added oomph. I will be driving it "in anger" at its first track event at the Gainesville Raceway later this month and I can hardly wait. The car may not be pretty to look at right now, but as fast as it is, no one will time to study the cosmetic blemishes!
Jake has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout this engine upgrade process and I recommend that anyone who wants insane power and torque to give him a call. He stands behind his work and it shows.
