The heads pictured here represent our 3rd stage of Hybrid head development. These heads flow 76% across the board and are equipped with 43x36mm valves and are destined for a 80x98mm Type 4 engine destined for autocross competition in a Porsche 914.

These heads feature the newest port shapes and margins and have substantially out performed our earlier Hybrid versions, which were serious contenders as well. This version retains the same valve train but with a much broader RPM potential, all while retaining the mid range torque that is a trademark of our engine designs.

These heads are also equipped with relocated plugs and a new and very confidential valve spring arrangement (not pictured purposely) that has been derived from our E & F production race engine program where it has performed flawlessly with exceptional results.

Just like all Hybrid cylinder heads here at Aircooled Technology these heads were based on Vanagon Square port castings and have been significantly modified for a dual purpose goal of reliability and race winning performance. Ask about incorporating these heads to you Super Hero or M.A.C.E. outfitted engine here at Aircooled Technology. Note: these heads are not available for "legends series" engines, only our more developed combinations benefit from their incorporation.
