This basic kit is what you need to get started with the conversion, and your journey into the future with a MassIVe Type IV engine. It incorporates everything needed to convert a Type IV engine to upright cooling. Will the DTM cool your engine??? Yes! We have employed the DTM in the most grueling and demanding applications available including our 3,000cc R&D engine (230HP Daily Driver) that runs head temps cooler than a stock engine with it's DTM all the way to E and F Production 914 race engines running 13:1 CR! We even have a DTM proving it's worth in the Baja 1000 and other off-road race events with excellent results. It’s the only cooling system available for the VW/ Porsche Type 4 aircooled engine that effectively and efficiently routes cooling air to the cylinders that need it most!! This is something that no other cooling system available presently incorporates! A cooler running engine will produce more horsepower, something our dyno has proven time and time again.
